This policy covers the Mirror website and the Mirror Capture Chrome extension. Mirror is a personal archive for AI chats you choose to upload or sync (ChatGPT and Claude on the front door). Soft Pro unlocks continuous sync so the archive stays current.
What we collect
- Account: email used for magic-link sign-in.
- Archive content you upload or sync: exports / encrypted extension bundles under your account.
- Usage metering: plan, entitlement, and sync/export counts for free vs Soft Pro limits.
- Billing: Soft Pro is processed by Stripe; we store FREE/PRO entitlement, not card numbers.
- Operational logs: request/error logs to keep the service running.
We do not sell your chat content. Not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic.
Extension
- Capture runs on chatgpt.com and claude.ai only.
- Messages can be encrypted on-device (AES-GCM) before sync.
- Local export works without an account.
- Sync only when you opt in — not silent full-browser collection.
How we use data
- Provide your archive (search, findings, pins, export).
- Enforce free vs Soft Pro limits.
- Send magic-link sign-in email.
- Process Soft Pro via Stripe webhooks.
Sharing
Stripe (payments), Resend (magic-link email), and Railway (hosting / storage). We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
Retention
Data persists while your account exists. Stop syncing anytime. For account/archive deletion, contact us from your signed-in email; a self-serve delete control will land as the product matures.
Children
Mirror is not directed at children under 13.

Updates will change the date on this page. Material changes appear here first.
